[name removed] was amazing, just talking to her made this feel better, she helped me understand why i was feeling how i was and explained in detail how to deal with it, she was friendly and polite, put me at ease straight away

My therapist ensured I got the most from the service. On days I didn’t feel able to partake, she was calm and convinced me to just chat to her instead. I was kept updated with work done in the sessions via email and given a relapse prevention plan when my therapy came to an end.
Suggested improvements
The waiting time of 6 months isn’t ideal but I understand this is not your fault at all and I am grateful I was offered the service.
I feel it would be beneficial to have more sessions than are offered but understand this would stop others getting the help they need, due to waiting list times.

My therapist was always there, on time, communicated clearly, and focused on me. I did not have to wait long to get support. I was not limited is how many sessions or when we had to do them. Flexibility was great. I felt cared for.
Suggested improvements
It at times felt easy to pull wool over therapists eyes- with my eating disorders I often { } and or tried to pretent things were did or different then reality which went inchallenged. I understand that doing that I was only harming myself- overall brilliant service!

Thank you for your feedback. We are glad that you found our service good overall. We know that it is often difficult for people to be completely honest about their eating disorder and its impact, but as time goes on, it’s important to be honest with the therapist and to admit if things are not quite as reported previously. We are only as good as the information we receive from you!
